Automatic faucet provide hands-free use enabling the user to wash his hands without touching handles which may have germs from previous users. They are also engineered to save money by limiting how long the water remains on while in use, and to restrict the amount of water pressure. Sensor faucets have been available for commercial applications for several years but have only recently become affordable for home use. Because of their automatic nature, some issues may arise that need to be addressed.
